We have developed numerous application products equipped with a unique load-holding function (Shoji-lock) that have been well received by our customers. <Shoji-lock Product Features> - When rotation is applied from the input side, the output side decelerates and transmits power, but rotation from the output side is not possible, providing a self-locking function. This means that it can hold a load at the desired position without the need for brakes. - Compared to worm gear reducers with the same self-locking function, it is highly efficient. Additionally, while worms have input and output axes that are orthogonal, our input and output shafts are aligned in a straight line (in-line), making it considerably more compact and space-saving, as well as lightweight. - Unlike ratchets or one-way clutches, it can hold a load at any position when motion is stopped, regardless of the direction of rotation. Furthermore, there is no ratchet noise, making it suitable for use in quiet environments. - It features a basic sealed structure (IP65) and is maintenance-free. - We offer a variety of application products, including gear reducers that utilize this self-locking mechanism, winches, and linear actuators (rack jacks). - Stainless steel versions are also available for each model, suitable for cleanroom applications. *For more details, please feel free to contact us.
